TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Shopping Square. I ordered a PC, external USB HDD, and a spare Power Supply Unit (PSU). Paid immediately via Paypal.
1. Order not dispatched for almost 3 weeks with no notification of delay. PC ad said to ‘allow 4 days’.
2. Finally received PC and USB HDD after three weeks. No sign of PSU.
3. PC case was not as pictured in ad. Brand and model of graphics card differed from advertised specifications.
4. Responses to my queries about missing PSU have been:
a. “send a photo” - WHAT THE!? Send a photo of an item I didn’t receive??
b. “warehouse says it was sent” - Nice, call me a liar!
c. “we need proof” - so now it’s up to me to prove that their warehouse is incompetent before they’ll act?
So I still don’t have my spare PSU five weeks later. All this heartache for a $40 part. Will NEVER EVER deal with this company again.
Hey, I didn’t get to vote but it would have received a 2/10 from me. Only because their prices are pretty reasonable.
I agree with Zak - I will never use this company again.

Terribe service - no phone or email contact allowed. Only a support ticket which in my case can take up to three days to respond to.
There website claims orders are dispatched within 1 business day - mine took over 1 week. I asked repeatedly for the order to be cancelled which they ignored and sent it anyway. Now they say to return it I have to pay a 10% restocking fee.
They have never answered my questions in the support tickets - they just give some standard answer. Definitely will not use this company again and I do not recommend this company at all. I am also going to contact the NSW Office of Fair Trade.
I have bought from them several items (good price) and was reasonably happy (delivery time) with their services. However the most recent purchase went very bad. The prepaid RAM memory was missing from the parcel (the other item was delivered) so I have notified them immediately after the box was opened.
We went in a long discussion (nearly two months) and eventually they admitted, that the item could be misplaced in the dispatching process and agreed to refund my money. However it has been already more than 2 months and they haven’t done it yet. It was only $65 but still seriously reduces credibility of this supplier.
I recommend everybody closely look into the parcel before signing the delivery docket, because their trade practices are not good enough.
If everything goes well they are fine, but in c ase of trouble they are not reliable enough. I have certainly crossed them out from my preferred list.

Bought a Nikon S220 camera with a 4gb SD memory card. It was part of a special deal, buy 2 x items and no delivery charge. Received the camera, but not the memory card. Sounds like they kept the memory card to cover the delivery charge. Sent a support ticket to find out what was going on, they told me to check the package again….duh, why would I write a support ticket if I didn’t check the package more than twice. Can’t say I would ever use them again.
I have similar problem to jb4 with ShoppingSquare. I ordered 4x 4GB Micro SD Cards and 1x toy helicopter when they had the buy 2x items and get free shipping deal. I received the helicopter but not any of the 4x Micro SD Cards. The first thing I noticed from the package was the missing micro sd cards, package contains only 1 helicopter which was in its original helicopter packaged box and nothing else. I then submitted a support ticket straight away. I have provided many photos of the package, inside, outside, up, down as they requested and each message they asked me to re-check and examine the package and that they have despatched the cards.
To date over 3 weeks with back & forth messages via the only means of communication…the ticketing system still back to square one. They keep coming back with the same answer that they did their investigation and that items have been despatched. There is no phone number on their website and that I have left my contact number requesting them to call me to which they did not. Today after many more messages they said they are willing to offer another four cards at half price, and if I am willing to take their offer they’ll prepare an agreement between us stating that I’ll close the dispute. Why should I pay more money for the items that I never received or sign any agreement to close the dispute that is not resolved? Very unpleasant experience with ShoppingSquare.
just bought a hard drive from these guys on ebay. paid with paypal, but somehow the payment didn’t register on their website, only on ebay. I have the receipt and everything.
gave them all relevant info to find payment, and - hey presto - no response in ages.
are these guys legit???
