My first order - very disappointed with the delivery time. Ordered on 12/6 still not received by 22/6. Contacted via website on 22/6 as no phone number listed anywhere. By 25/6 no response. Checked website again and logged into ‘track order’. Products FINALLY “picked from warehouse” on 25th however the tracking number given is not currently listed with Australia Post. I won’t bother again, I get better service and delivery with S.A.F.E.

Wish I’d have read these comments prior to ordering. I have lost $257.00. My payment was accepted on 16th June and I have received nothing and no responses to emails I have sent them. We will be passing by their ’supposed’ address in a few weeks and will call in. This does appear to be a scam I would advise you to look elsewhere.

I will add my name to this list. Ordered items and paid (via Paypal) on 7 July. Waited and waited and finally got the shits. Sent an email to the company on 21st July and no reply. Went onto the website to track the order and it appears that the it was picked up from the warehouse on the 21st (coincidence?) and shipped on the 22nd. Once again the tracking number does not exist with Australia Post. All the phone numbers from Whitepages etc. are disconnected. This is a scam. Will be making a formal complaint, once i figure out how to do that!

I have been ordering from Thexton for 2-3 years now with no trouble at all - very fast delivery and products exactly as described. Now I am like the other reviewers and feeling like I am never going to see the products I ordered or my money again!! What happened? I am disguisted, that my order has not only not been filled, from greater than one month ago. They have not refunded my money to my credit card as requested (if my order could not be filled). Repeat requests for them to handle my enquiries have been ignored.

I have been ripped off as well. My orders from june has not been sent, neither have any of the emails or letters i’ve sent. Also, i have been charged twice. Th initial order process was interrupted because of a faulty system. No order was recorded but I managed to complete the process the next day. The fax number is false/defunct.

I have reported them and I have also contacted the companies whose products I was ordering - if I supplied my products somewhere and my customers were treated like this I would want to know. Ordered product 24 days an waiting, out of pocket $154. I have dealt with Overseas suppliers which are quicker. Have opened PayPal dispute and hope to get a refund that way. I too wish I had read this forum beforehand, should of known it was a scam when no phone numbers are listed ANYWHERE on the website. Spread the news, will report to Office of Fair trading. last year i bought some herbal products. it took forever, like months.. but then they delivered it, saying one of my products was out of stock so they upgraded it to the bigger pack. All the items were ok, but I wouldn’t deal with them again because the whole process seemed way too shady. perhaps they’re in a bit of trouble

And here is another complaint! I ordered goods on 21 September and paid via PayPal. Followed up goods a month later and received an email advising goods were out of stock. I noticed a month later a local health food store had the product on the shelf and since then have been trying to get a response out of Thexton. Very glad I came across this site with everyone’s experiences. I tried the phone numbers given in an earlier post and these are ringing out. Interestingly, I am currently going through the dispute process with Paypal to try and get my money back that way and the transaction number I was given when I first ordered the goods is not registering with PayPal. Sure sign of a scam? How are you to know that an online company is on the level?

I would encourage others to do the same because the more pieces of the jigsaw they have the more info they have to close in on these people. And the penalties for Trading while Insolvent are hefty!

Yes, same excuses, out of stock, then credit card debited 1 month later and assured product on its way..then when no product Amanda says that probably caught up with the fires down South. I suggested that goods coming from the Gold Coast to Noosa was a long way from this. Assured me goods will be with me anyday now and that she will credit money back to me. Still neither has arrived and my emails have stopped being answered by her. Will advise ACCC.

Chris, you are throwing your money away if you do use thexton. The posts on this forum represent a tiny percentage of the thousands of customers who have been ripped off so far. There are several ACCC cases in progress, hopefully we can get these thieves shut down asap with some heavy fines issued for being such deceitful mongrels.

Yes well again, I wish I had found this site before purchasing from Thexton. I do not know how they are still getting away with this.
I have just put a dispute in with Paypal and they have never let me down with getting my money back before, so hopefully they can do the same this time.
If enough people are putting disputes into Paypal this mob will soon go out of business.
I always use Paypal and do not usually buy online unless the site uses Paypal as you have more chance of getting your money back.
I will not let this go.

Well I actually got my money back from Thexton, still no products.
I reported them to the ACCC and Qld consumer affairs and within a couple of days received a refund in full. Thanks to Paypal as well.
Do not put up with loosing your money, keep complaining and hopefully we will get this site taken of the internet. But they will probably just start up another web site.

I too used thexton for years and they were great. I bought $50 worth of goods last week and didnt even get an email confirmation back or an invoice, they just took the money and havent received the goods. I’ll also be complaining to ACCC this is ridiculous. Never ordering from them again!

Yes, like everyone it would seem like I have also been scammed. I paid my goods via BPay and according to there order tracking my order remains ‘unpaid’ and of course I have tried contacting them a few times with no such luck. Im in the process of getting my money back (I contacted my own bank) and hopefully it will all go well but I wish I had read these reviews before I made such a mistake. I also have put in a complain with the ACCC via SCAMwatch. If this happens to you to I suggest you do the same until we can finally get the site shut down

I ordered goods in early April, they took $209 out of my account, and I was adised they were awaiting deliery to fill my order. Still waiting, and when I went back to track my order again it says it has been ‘canceled’. Have tried emailing, but no luck so far.

Well..here is yet another person who has been out of pocket for months. They won’t respond to my emails or phone calls. I have sent many and left messages. Sure it’s not a heap of money ($120) but just plain annoying. Hi - We are the NEW OWNERS of ThextonHealth from Active World Nutrition. We are quite frankly disgusted and cannot understand the disgraceful practices of the previous owners. Since taking over we have assisted over 120 customers with either getting their orders or referring them directly to a person who has been appointed to deal with this matter at the Office of Fair Trading.
Unfortunately we trusted the previous owners to sort out all orders paid to them prior to our takeover which they are obligated to do. We referred all customers who wanted refunds via a link on the website and via email which was part of our agreement, but it became evident that she was not actioning any customer refunds or communicating to any customers, but telling us each week everything was being done. We are totally dumfounded with this type of behaviour and cannot understand it.
The office of fair trading have the previous owners under investigation and have asked us if we can refer all complaints prior to our takeover to them. It is frustrating as we have nothing to do with this yet are being caught up in something that should have already been resolved and the past owners are obliged to finalise. I paid my goods via BPay and according to there order tracking my order remains ‘unpaid’ and of course I have tried contacting them a few times with no such luck. Im in the process of getting my money back (I contacted my own bank) and hopefully it will all go well but I wish I had read these reviews before I made such a mistake. I also have put in a complain with the ACCC via SCAMwatch. If this happens to you to I suggest you do the same until we can finally get the site shut down
Yes same problem, ordered from them in march credit card debited, unable to get contact. Have also lodged complaint with ACCC and sent email to consumer affairs qld.
Notice they still send emails regarding their sales as if everything is ok.
I ordered back on 3rd March, $130 on my card straight away, still no stock available, various emails ignored, directly to Amanda. Attempted to call, surprise surprise, message bank full. Yeh, full of people trying to get their money back I bet.
I too have lodged a complaint with the ACCC and am now attempting to recover funds from my Credit Card provider.
Amanda, I am no competitor trying to scare anyone, I just want what I have ordered or my money Back !!!, replying to your customers wouldn’t hurt, not replying is giving your business a bad reputation.

Same problem as everyone else. Ordered, paid, had account debited by Thexton. No goods, emails returned. Left phone messages. Nobody ever replied. This is a scam for sure!
I placed an order in February 2009. I did not received it. I tried to contact Thexton unsuccessfuly. I asked (via E-mail) to refund my money. No answer ne refund !!!
Placed order on behalf of my work and never received stock. I work for a company that will follow this through until resolved I will update you with any progress. We have been taken for a large amount and will not stop until it is refunded and website is offline!
we finally got our money back but had to go thru our bank in order to retrieve it, paid by credit card.

Ditto to above. Had used them previously and they were phone. Lodging a complaint with ASIC as its a PL company. Waiting for the paper work to claim back thru the credit card. Not a huge amount (110) but it still sucks. Definitely gotta get em shut down.
Buyer beware I am also a sucker that lost thier money. A bogus Australia post number was also given to me the day after emailing them surprise surprise supposed to be posted that day.

Looks like I can add my name to the list of suckers! I had dealt with Thexton numerous times in the past, and never had any problem until now. I ordered goods in early April, they took $209 out of my account, and I was adised they were awaiting deliery to fill my order. Still waiting, and when I went back to track my order again it says it has been ‘canceled’. Have tried emailing, but no luck so far.
I’ve been a loyal Thexton, Amazon and Ebay shopper for the last few years. My order this time did not have their usual speedy delivery but I called up and emailed them and they promptly phoned me back, and sorted it out which I was worried about after reading this. But they fixed it really quickly.
Hi I am like Ian a Very Loyal THEXTON customer - I love them - Far Out Give the guys a break - My lastest order was number 110,046. Thats alot of orders compared to the complaints. This is a classic case of Cutting Down the Tall Poppy! Give them a go - they are great, and I have ALWAYS found them willing to help.

Try Office of Fair Trading QLD. I found them very very helpful! They helped me get my money back, took 3 months but I did get it back.
Well..here is yet another person who has been out of pocket for months. They won’t respond to my emails or phone calls. I have sent many and left messages. Sure it’s not a heap of money ($120) but just plain annoying. I have purchased off the site for a couple of years, but clearly something has gone very wrong and they have closed down all means of communication. I have at least told my friends and posted a note at the gym I go to, now about to get in contact with my credit card provider to see what they can do.
Hi - We are the NEW OWNERS of ThextonHealth from Active World Nutrition. We are quite frankly disgusted and cannot understand the disgraceful practices of the previous owners. Since taking over we have assisted over 120 customers with either getting their orders or referring them directly to a person who has been appointed to deal with this matter at the Office of Fair Trading.
Unfortunately we trusted the previous owners to sort out all orders paid to them prior to our takeover which they are obligated to do. We referred all customers who wanted refunds via a link on the website and via email which was part of our agreement, but it became evident that she was not actioning any customer refunds or communicating to any customers, but telling us each week everything was being done. We are totally dumfounded with this type of behaviour and cannot understand it.
The office of fair trading have the previous owners under investigation and have asked us if we can refer all complaints prior to our takeover to them. It is frustrating as we have nothing to do with this yet are being caught up in something that should have already been resolved and the past owners are obliged to finalise. The details of the person to speak to and/or email at Office of Fair Trading is as follows, who’ll be able to follow this up for you. I do hope we can have you back as customers, as the only thing that resembles the past is the name and hopefully we can show you what real customer service is all about.
